This month, we are launching something new that we’re super excited about: Parent’s Book Club!
This will be a community gathering event held monthly, and parents are welcome to attend every month or whenever their schedules allow. Each month we will choose a book that we will then discuss at the monthly meeting. Book topics will be primarily focused on the complexities of raising children in the modern, digital age.
Parents will have the opportunity to read the book ahead of time, if they are able; or join even if you aren’t able to read the book but are interested in the topic. For those who have time to read the book, you will have the option to lead the discussion on chapters in the book.
October’s meeting will be held on October 28th at 8:00pm, and will discuss the book The Scaffold Effect: Raising Self-Resilient, Self-Reliant, and Secure Kids in an Age of Anxiety, by Harold S. Koplewicz, MD.
